Get fit

Yeap, I went swimming with my family and it is really great to workout after so long.
I ate wayyyy toooo much during CNY and now I'm loaded with fats. Hahaha!

At least I put on weight and move in to the healthy range. Yes, I was underweight when I weighed 9 kg lesser as compared to my current weight. Can you believe it? My BMI was only 17 -.-
Now that my BMI is 19, I am so relieved but I don't want to grow fat.
So... I'm gonna lose about 2 kg so I won't look so fleshy :)
Even my mum told me to shed some weight.

Anyway, we had fishing session again last Sunday. JT's first catch was an octopus and his second was a baby grouper. And surprisingly, I caught something too! I caught a catfish and that's it.
Michelle and WeiJie caught nasi lemak fish. I think there's at least 6 of them.
Quite an experience :) Especially when there's a heavy downpour which got all of us drenched and due to the strong wind my umbrella became U-shaped instead of the normal inverted U ones.
So embarrassing lah. People can still laugh so loud while I struggled with the umbrella.
Hahaha. But it was really fun.

Let's rewind back to last Friday. It was a night to be ME :)
ME's Dinner & Dance was held that evening and boy, I must say everyone looked fabulous on that night. Great dinner and excellent company. I must say I enjoyed myself :)
I won't miss out Yun's 7th b'day. It was a short and sweet celebration and I'm glad she loves what she got on her b'day :)

I hate waiting for photos to upload into Blogger cause they always take a darn long time to finish uploading.

Went fishing today with JT and sis at Bedok Jetty.

Well, we caught something! HAHAHA!
You don't how excited we were when we got that fish onto the hook. We were like kids jumping for joy over rewards of pop sticks.
It was really windy and I enjoyed the view there.
Didn't know Sg's water could be so blue over the years of clearing up. Nice :)

Few days back, it was Kian Pin's birthday and they celebrated at this restaurant in some secluded place.
They are famous for their buffalo wings and is located at around Seletar area.
Not sure if you guys know about this place... Sunset Grill & Bar (if i'm not wrong)
Anyway, they have many levels of spiciness for these wings. Which is from 1 to 35.
We attempted level 3. Well, not bad :)
Then, KP's idea went wild and decided to get Lynette and I to try level 30 with him.
Level 30 because they didn't have level 35's chili sauce so the available hottest wings on that day was only till 30.
Good news? We survived through.
Bad news? The pain was just too horrifying! It makes KP vomited and clogged the sink. Haha.

Was deciding whether to go for GLEE-themed night at Play today but I was afraid they might play musical songs instead of those R&B ones. Haha.

Anyway, hearing that many of my friends are going overseas makes me jealous.
I don't know when I can get that freedom of going somewhere far with my friends without having to say that it's a school trip.
My dad told me 21. Hmm... I hope that's true.

B2ST's Shock MV is damn cool you know. YoSeob morphed from cute to tough :) Now I start to like him more. But there is no doubt AJ is my favourite from B2ST. He is forever hot!

Their new tracks are extremely addictive and they have been playing non-stop in my room :D

I'm left with about a week to prepare my outfit for Dinner and Dance. Found a dress online but still I want to source for my one and only. I hate it when someone wears the same thing. That will probably ruin my night. So I want to make careful choices in order to make me feel good about what I'm gonna wear for that night.
Daryl asked me if I'm eyeing on the prom queen throne. Hahaha. That didn't even cross my mind until he asked.
Well, I believe everyone's gonna look fabulous on that night and I don't think I would stand out that much.
But hey, it made my day when he asked about that. :)

D&D is on 12 march which is also Yun's 7th birthday! I feel so guilty not able to spend the evening with her but this D&D will only happen once for 2010's graduates.
I hope she understands :) I'll try to find a perfect gift for her.
Moreover, action is louder than words right?

Since it is not the 2nd of March, I shall wish Ron a happy belated 20th :)
Most of us went to Sentosa together and we stayed there for about 6 hours straight.
Everyone had very bad sunburns and I guess all of us are scratching our skin right now.
Hahaha. Am I right?

I guess I'll be uploading the many other photos next time. Feeling kind of tired and I can't wait to lie down on my comfy bed :)

It was an eleventh-hour planning to go club last night. Guess where? P-L-A-Y
Yes, you read that. That was the first time I can only see the crowd with only 8% who are female.
I saw gays making out, flirting, dancing so saucily, and hugging each other.
Truthfully, I felt kind of traumatised when I saw them french-kissing on the dance floor.
Lucky I adapted to the environment fast. Really really really eye-opening!
Well, I had fun :)
Anyway, they played Abracadabra, Bo Peep, and Sorry, sorry! And and BAD ROMANCE :D

I'm enjoying the new songs from Shock of the New Era by B2ST/Beast. It's good :)

Hon and Hui Hong saw my new haircut today and they were shocked.

I'm having insomnia again.
I hate the feeling of not being able to sleep even though I am kind of tired.

Anyway, I finished painting my shelves, finally!
Now, my room is reek of paint smell.
Which means I have to sleep without switching on the air-con until there's no more foul.
I've been sleeping with the fan switched on for nights already, few more nights won't kill right?

I've been loving this singer ever since he sang "Look Only At Me".
He's none other than the talented Taeyang.
Recently, there's an announcement saying that he will be releasing his 2nd solo album.
This is the first song - Where U At
Nice song, great singing. Superb choreo, world-class dance. :)
Only Taeyang can showcase all these other than Justin Timberlake.

I'm waiting for his album to be out so that I can start listening to the next song "Wedding Dress".

True enough, I didn't blog for a very long time is because of laziness. But! Sometimes I was busy too so I didn't have a chance to blog.

Yesterday, JT brought me STICKY's hard candy plus a huge lollipop! At first, I thought he bought macadamia nuts for me since he told me to guess. He hinted me it is something that I like, so I guessed the nuts.
Then he replied, "Clever girl! How you know?"
In the end, it's hard candy!
And I really fell for it -.-
Anyway, I love hard candy too :) Thank you again baby :)

We watched 500 days of Summer this afternoon. It was a great show :)

Back to normal, at last!

Finally, Blogger is functioning well!
I can now upload photos and blog properly after so many weeks :)

Two days back, we had a class gathering + bbq session for T3M4 at Changi.
Well, we definitely spent a great time together! It was so much fun :)
And you know, I love bbq-ing so I spent quite a long time at the pit.
In the end, fever came knocking on my door and there you go...
I spent the next day in bed -.- I felt so bad for not being able to go meet Hon for FYP.
Supposedly, there's a cycling session at Pulau Ubin this morning however my alarm went off without waking me up!
Therefore, I had no choice but to tell them that I won't be going.
I guessed the medicine I had last night really knocked me out totally and that's why I didn't even know that the alarm was ringing.
Good news is that I'm feeling better right now.
Bad news is that I couldn't get a chance to go cycling with them.
Hon told me how much fun they had, I regretted not going :(

Recently, I've been falling in love with BIG BANG :D
I didn't really like them in the past but now, since they are appearing more matured, I started to love them.
Especially one of the rappers, TOP. He portrays that very cool and don't-mess-with-me-or-you-will-be-sorry kind of personality.
He got that bad-boy look which hooked me to him very much :)

JT's 19th birthday was 2 days ago and Hon, Huihong and I had a small celebration for him.
Well, I think he's very happy since I bought a Zara long sleeves shirt for him which he've been wanting to get it and 30 bucks worth of Kenny Rogers' vouchers from the 3 girls for him.
He smiled very widely after receiving the vouchers :) How silly. Hahaha.
But I'm am very glad that he spent his birthday full of smiles this year :)

I find that Taeyeon can really sing and her voice is great. Somehow I didn't like Jessica's voice for this song. And if you noticed the mistakes from the last video, one of it is when Kyuhyun pronounced 'shed' as 'shit'. I almost fell off the chair while laughing at that mistake! However, his singing is very good and he has that very smooth voice which is soothing to listen to :)

I wanna do some updates so here I am.

Last Saturday, went to meet up RongMing and Cam for a catch-up session.
Had a lot of fun talking to them and mentioning the moments we've shared.
RongMing shared quite a number of spooky encounters that happened in the army camp.
It's scary lah! Especially when I was listening to it in the middle of the night.
Anyway, RongMing brought us to a 24-hr bistro (Backyard) somewhere near Little India station.
I love their Hawaiian pizza :) and their vodka-ribena wasn't bad too.
Stayed until about 1.20am before leaving for home.

Last Sunday, Dad brought us to a famous fish steamboat at Beach Road.
The soup was superb! I'd love to go back again despite the long wait :D

Monday, I went to book my 2nd TP 'cause I've canceled the 1st one due to schedule problem.
I'm going to have exam on the same day so I got no choice. It's very upsetting though.
In the end, I have to wait for 5 months for my TP. Just my luck :(
Intended to watch Where Got Ghost? at AMK Hub however tickets were all sold out for that particular time-slot we wanted to catch.
Then we went to check out the bubble tea from Koi Cafe somewhere near S-11.
Their milk tea not bad but it's a little expensive to drink.

Tuesday, rushed to school for a FYP. Was a little late 'cause I was caught up with something but in the end we couldn't start early 'cause we couldn't find the staff to open the computer lab for us. So we seeked help from Ngoh and finally we've got someone to open the door for us.
Didn't really like how today ended :(

Wednesday, decided to catch Where Got Ghost? at The Cathay.
Hilarious movie with some frightening scenes = hormedy
I grabbed JT's hands so hard till he complaint lah. HAHA! I'm so sorry baby.
I was a bit scared lah so I grabbed his hands to cover my vision :D
Not bad for an entertaining movie if you understand hokkien if not you might as well not waste your money on the movie ticket :)
After that, we left for JT's place before his parents bring us out for dinner.
We had Taiwan porridge at Changi road.
Nice dinner but a tad expensive though.

Today, I had a small revision for Offshore Engineering with JT.
My brain couldn't really adjust to study mode yet. Haha.
So I did only a few theory-based questions.

Going school for FYP again tomorrow.
Hope things will go on smoothly.

Blogger is totally screwed up 'cause it had been down for a long time and now it's not back to normal yet.
Didn't update this dusty e-journal so much recently due to umpteen piles of assignments and presentations to be done. It was up to the brim!
But I'm glad all of us are done with most of it.
Next stressful period will be during the exam week.
I am definitely looking forward to the holidays! :D
I'm going to work - got money!
I'm going to our class chalet - share the laughter!
And I'm going to bring my little sis to the zoo as promised :)
How can I forget about FYP right? HAHA!

Few days back, JT and I went to catch THE HANGOVER and it's worth every penny we've spent on the tickets!
The whole movie was filled with humours and 'mystery' which gives the movie a twist in living Vegas' dream. Catch it to know what I mean :)

I've found a new love of my life - ROYCE' Nutty Bar Chocolate :) It's so much better than Ferraro Rondnoir.

You know what? I haven't been sleeping for the past 39 hours or so.
Haha. It's crazy and I couldn't think at all while doing a test this morning.
Yes, I think I screwed up my good grade for this test. Darn it!
All my hard work had practically gone to waste just because I had insomnia last night.

My mind is totally blank now so I'm stopping here.

Okay, I am totally lost in my life.
I don't know what I'm going to do after my diploma and it's really frustrating to keep thinking that I am not in the right track of the life I wanted.
It's tiring to try to strive in something you are not interested in.
Definitely, I get crushed down very easily. My determination has its own limit.
I like to do the best and be the best.
But I can't think of any good plan for my future and it's like the last year of poly already.

Hmm...
Never mind.
I shall not bore you with my rantings :)

You know what?
I did something stupid last night.
I thought of suicidal.
And I did many things to get myself hurt. Yes, I tortured myself.
This was the first time I've ever felt being pushed to the edge of a cliff.
I also realised that rage makes human beings do outrageous and psycho stuff.
I barely knew myself last night, it was horrifying.
Well known as being cheerful, I can't believe that I'd do such thing.
Something is so wrong with me...

The 6 year-old little rascal has her own BIGGEST toy (so far).
Ain't she lucky ?
It's a good thing she has a piano, they got rid of the noisy keyboard at last!
I used to recall my father who ordered a piano and hired a private piano teacher for me when I was much younger.
However, I REJECTED HIM! 'Cause my mum told me so :(
My mum was afraid that my dad couldn't handle the money pressure so I had to give up on what I always dreamed of doing.
Now, we got a piano at home, my parents asked me again if I want to learn piano :)
Piano lessons ain't cheap so I'll have to think it through carefully before making a decision.
I don't want to add burden to my father.

My thigh got injured after the gym session on Sunday.
It was fine yesterday but somehow it got worst after I got home.
I'll probably visit a Chinese physician later on but I feel weird...
'Cause so far all the physicians are uncles! And I'm going to let them touch my thigh lah!

It was a day planned to baked chocolate crinkles in a slightly different way.
There's JT's version and VG's version :)
I guessed I baked better since his crinkles' dough was a tad 'abnormal'. Hahaha!
And the crinkles he baked were dry and very bitter 'cause he cut down the sugar used by 50%.
And he and his mum had this idea of adding honey to it but it ended up 'spoiling' the dough somehow due to chemical reaction ?
I don't know. It's weird.
But I know VG's version is better :D

I didn't know those 'gold strips' look so striking till now.

Today was a boring day except for the movie part :)
Went town to catch ICE AGE 3 with the girls and JT!

I must say this PIXAR's production is one of the best in terms of storyline, children-friendly humours and hilarious scenes :D
I've watched the first two movies of Ice Age and I enjoyed it the same for the third one.
The part which I laughed the most ? The scene whereby they breathe in some kind of gas which changes their voice and made them laugh with whatever they say. It's like breathing helium and nitrous oxide altogether. It's unforgettable!
I give 4 out of 5 for this. No doubt about it :)

Haven't been updating lately so here I am :)
Well, been kind of 'busy' the past few days 'cause there's activities going on and on.

Monday :
I spent my day at home before my parents and Yun leave for Thailand.
Nothing special, just see them pack their stuffs the whole day, literally.

Tuesday :
A small celebration for the soon-to-be birthday girl, Celestine.
Met up with the girls and had dinner at Aston's.
Dinner was satisfactory except for the fish which was kind of salty but I managed to finish it though :D
Brought in a surprise cake for her after dinner and you can see that girl smiling all the way.
I'm glad you enjoyed the celebration babe!
We hang around Suntec for a while before heading home.
I wasn't going home 'cause I went over to JT's place for a sleepover.
As usual, we will have a pillow talk before we tuck in :) He always fall asleep before I do. That silly sleep-talking pig :)
And yes, he sleep-talked with me again! :D

Wednesday :
Spent the day with my dearest watching dvds and mobtv.
Without a doubt, I always have a great time being with him :)
But it is forever unfair to me to wrestle with him, 'cause I'll never win!

Never mind about that...
Oh, we baked chocolate crinkles together!
It turns out to taste really heavenly 'cause of the dark chocolate :)

Not very sweet, slightly crispy on the outside and soft in the inside!
Then we prepared 19 of them as a gift to JT's friend whose birthday is today.
I joined JT and his friends for dinner to celebrate Shu Huak's bday.
Happy 19th birthday to Celestine and ShuHuak on 24th June :)

Thursday :
Went down to Bukit Gombak for driving lesson and then headed to BBDC to book my TP :D
Late August... I hope I will pass :) Who wouldn't want to right ?
It's such a waste of money and time to take another test.
All driving centres are money-suckers, haha!
Later in the evening, I went back home to get myself prepared to go out.
Met up with them and we went to Zirca.
It's my 4th visit to a club but PQ found it hard to believe and I don't know why.
Do I look like a frequent clubber ? Oh well, as long as I know I'm not :)
Anyway, it was free entry for tertiary students before 12 midnight so we went in kind of 'early' for some drinks first.
The re-entry kind of startled me 'cause all of a sudden 2 ushers(I don't think they are bouncers but I don't know what to call them) stopped me.
I thought something wrong had happened and maybe they wanted to check my IC or something.
But no. They told me to fill in the VIP list instead. Very surprising huh.
But lucky it wasn't some bad thing that happen.
DJ played BOOM BOOM POW! Awesome :)
I'm so hooked to that song ever since the Black Eyed Peas performed at American Idol's finale show.
It just gives you the hype you know :)

Friday :
Woke up at 7.45am for driving lesson but ended up not going.
I've got hangover and if I drive at that condition, the instructor and I will just ended up staying at the hospital after my so called drink-driving accident. Hahaha!
But I felt bad cancelling his lesson though.
So I continued sleeping till noon and starved myself all the way to 5pm before I move my butt off the couch to buy something to eat.
Didn't know what to eat and so I bought several pieces of sushi which lasted me till now.
I really miss my mum. If she's here in S'pore, she won't allow me to have an empty stomach and will cook me something to eat.
To conclude, today was kind of meaningless and somewhat made me feel really lonely.
Cause' I am home alone :(
Never mind, I am looking forward to tomorrow!
Will be meeting JT after his dragonboat race and have dinner together :)
Mentioning about JT, Cam is another JT. Hahaha!

My mum, Yun and I went to Citylink to find my sister who was working at Charles&Keith.
Since today is a Saturday, I couldn't take the crowd.
The shop was literally filled with people and cheenas!
You know what, my dad actually know the parents of Charles and Keith.
And he kept telling us about the successful story of this owner who started this business bla bla bla. Heard they are really good looking too!
Cam once told me that they are gay but in fact they are not, they are brothers.

We went shopping afterwards 'cause there are sales everywhere!
In the end got nothing back, haha :D
You know that I'm still having flu and slight cough right?
People gave me a stare and walked away as fast as they could every time I coughed!
My mum and I kept joking about this the whole day saying how S'poreans are so kiasi.
C'mon lah, if I really got swine flu I will still go out and walk around happily?
Happily passing my virus around? Hahaha! S'poreans are just the way they are.
I wasn't born in S'pore so that doesn't make me a S'porean :)
So I'm a Thai with a S'pore citizenship.

Anyway, something reminds me of a word - shag.
I don't know why but somehow a lot of people used this word wrongly.
They took shag as the same as fatigue.
Fatigue - weariness from bodily or mental exertion
Shag - to engage in sexual intercourse
Trust me, you can't find any definition of shag to tally with fatigue at all.

Yesterday JT and I shopped around after movie and dinner.
CottonOn Body is having a great sale then I got myself 3 pieces of bra.
One for 10 bucks - so cheap! Just nice I can replace some of the old ones :)

Am I unlucky or what ? Why do I always fall sick after common test or exam ?
The break after test week is definitely a 'break' for me to rest well.

For the past few days, I've been spending it well with my family :)
We went IKEA, M'sia for dinner and did some shopping, and town for a walk, etc.
Actually I'm a very home-girl. I like to spend my time at home with my mum and little sis.
I will, in fact, hate to go to crowded places. It's irritating how you need to squeeze through the crowds and the accessibilty to the toilet is torturing.
Imagine you have don't-know-how-many-ml of pee you need to hold while waiting for your turn to the cubicle.
And it's like super urgent! Gosh!

Anyway, tomorrow's friday which also means that the first week of the term-break is coming to an end :( Time really flies when you are enjoying.
Finally I can get to see JT tomorrow :D Haven't been seeing him lately 'cause he got training for the 'big race'. And every night, I will always hear a very zombie-like voice over the phone, haha!
If I feel better tomorrow, we are going to catch movie together.

Oh my, my eyelids are dropping. Why huh ?

My mum, Yun, JT and I went to search for this famous fish 'n' chips at Toa Payoh and the search was worth it :) Great battered fish fillet! Fantastic chicken cutlet! Mouth-watering calamari rings! And the service was really warm too!
The fish was really fresh and the batter made it so much less sinful to eat. The taste was great :)
The cutlet was like the best chicken cutlet I've ever tasted so far. Very full of flavours :)
Talking about it now makes me hungry :( Oh my.

Finally a well-deserved break

Yes, holidays start now and I'm loving it! For the first day since this sem started, I don't have to bother about school work at all.
So far for this term, it's been kind of stressful and everything with all the tests, assignments and presentations, and of course FYP.
I'm going to enjoy myself to the fullest before another stressful term starts :)

Anyway, Cam, JT and I went out yesterday to the IT show to help Cam get flyers.
She's going to get a laptop at a good price and so we squeezed in the crowd with her to get FLYERS!
We had frigging loads of laughters along the way and we kept imitating the scream that aunt who wanted to jump down but got stuck made. Haha!
We went to get tickets for Pelham 123 and went to eat.
Show's at 9.30pm and we had quite some time to spare then we headed to the arcade.

PELHAM 123 has a interesting storyline and can be thrilling at certain parts, but still not thrilling enough. Overall, still worth watching :)

I'm bored and so I'm typing some random post out here at 2 in the morning :D
Currently, I'm sleepy and not at home. Staying over at Cam's place.
Mum finally allowed me and my sister to stay over since my dad is not in town.

I had a wonderful dinner just now and the chef was Cam's dad. He claimed to be 25 which makes Cam to be 3 and I'm 1. Haha! Anyway, have to thank her dad for making an effort to whip up a nice meal for us :) Especially the mushroom soup!

I just read Hon's post and she said I failed my FTT thrice! Choy! I haven't even take the 3rd one and she said I fail. Choy choy choy!
Oh ya, supposedly going to meet HuiHong and Hon to go temple and bai bai but they didn't tell me what time to meet and so I thought they won't be going. Haha. But I was wrong.
HuiHong called me this afternoon asking if I've reach Bugis and apparently I have not.
I was eating at the foodcourt near my block with my mum and little sis.
Oh well, my mum told me to bai bai at home since I didn't go see Guan Yin Ma.

You know what? Lakeview Terrace was such a disappointing show. Watched it from DemandTV just now and it's plain boring and stupid. We've been waiting for action part for so long and ended up we only got it for about 10 minutes at the near end of the show. Waste my time! It's not even worth me talking about it.

Shit man, I'm going to be like a panda SOON! I've been lacking of sleep and I sleep in late.
All because of some projects/assignments to do before common test week. And I realised this term is surprisingly short. Or is it we are too busy to even know which week we are in now?
Okay, I am anticipating my 2-week break which starts after next week :)
I wanna sleep as long as I want and do whatever I want. I need to get a life :(

Cam's boxer is so comfortable to wear, haha. I know this is random but I can't help it lah. Tiredness always got me doing random stuff. I can even poke people and irritate them :D

Terminator Salvation

Caught this movie with Ray, Denzel & JT after school today.
Oh my, those robots look damn scary and I think I've developed a phobia towards robots.
Anyway, the story line for this movie wasn't that good as many things were only delivered in bits & pieces and somehow you couldn't get any clue at the end of the show.
But if you don't mind about the lousy story, you can watch it for their actions.
Machines created were very real and I find one of their 'design' for the machines very very cool.

Had this random thought of blogging so here I am. Haha.

Out of nowhere just now, I was day-dreaming -.- or should I call it night-dreaming ?
Anyhow, I thought of myself with JT out of this country for a 'honeymoon'.
Haha, we went to Venice I guess. So funny!
The thoughts of having a getaway makes me sway~
'Cause I really feel like getting rid of the highly-piled stresses and pamper myself a little for a short break.
JT deserves a big break. He's been working on projects and fulfilling his commitments throughout this term and soon we have to start our revisions for the upcoming common test already :(
But I am looking forward to the term-break (2 weeks!) :D

For pre-schoolers, like the little rascal at home, they start their holiday tomorrow.
Though it's friday, there's going to be a parent-teacher conference and therfore no school.
Damn, I wish I can stay 4 or 5 years old always. She's 6 by the way.

Gonna have FYP presentation no. 1 tomorrow and I bet everyone is so stressed up with all the researching and doing the final touch-up for a close-to-flawless kind of presentation.
I hope I can stay calm tomorrow during the moment of nervousness when lecturers are bombing us with chim questions. Seriously, I'm afraid :(
Everyone's going to wear formally tomorrow :)

I hate the way my dad open the door. Those very inconsiderate way of opening a door - so loud and disturbing. Sigh, he will tell us off if we were to do that. Not fair uh.

DOU Recital

JT came over after training and bought me a cup of honey green tea :D
And then we went to buy take away back 'cause the food court was really packed.
Had to rush a little 'cause we need to be at SCGS by 3.30pm but we were a little late in the end.
Collected the tickets from Justis and bidded goodbye to my love, my sis and I proceed to the auditorium awaiting for the performances.
Initially we were part of Just Crew but we left for some reasons which is a pretty sad thing for me 'cause I really want to perform hiphop on stage.
Dancing is a passion to me.
Well, sometimes in life you got to sacrifice some things in order to keep the rest.

An example of a typical S'porean who is utterly selfish. No good no good.

Outside the auditorium where many parents were very excited about their precious little girls performing ballet for the recital.

Finally met up with my qing ai de yesterday after not meeting for so long.
Went to collect my bag and then lunch and haircut.
We had yummy hainanese chicken at Far East Plaza but kind of costly actually.
We slacked for like 2 hours before her haircut appointment.
Talking about haircut, you should see her hair before the haircut.
She looked like a emo rocker sia.
Anyway, we had a lot of to share especially our relationship.
It's always nice to have her around to listen me out once in a while :)

I told her how much I misses her dad's cooking, she invited me to her place for dinner this coming saturday :D
JT and my sis will be going too.

Anyway, JT dated me out :)
Initially, I was supposed to meet him in school and we go out together after my project discussion however my tummyache hurt me so bad that I was too late to go school to meet Hon and HuiHong for the discussion.
I felt bad so I volunteered to do the presentation slides for them.
Got really lost at first about this floating production assignment; really don't know what to do.
Hate this kind of feeling especially when you are in a rush to finish it :(

Wanted to catch Angels and Demons but there wasn't any time slots which is just right for us so we skipped that.
Then we walked around and went up to a pet shop to look at puppies.
Found one Japanese Spitz which was beautiful :) but it's kind of difficult to keep their fur as white as before if you don't take great care of them.
Then I thought of buying something back for Pepsi & Cola when I go Thailand for a visit.
Really miss them; I want to see how big they have grown into.

I love going out with JT 'cause he never fails to make me smile/laugh :)
In fact not many guys can do what he does to make me happy.
Maybe that's why I fell for him ... ? :p

Had a great time out with JT today :)
Firstly, I went out to meet him at Suntec to buy some stuff and I realised he can be kind of indecisive when it comes to shopping for himself.
So I'm not the only one who will take a longer time to buy something.
Well, he bought 'Mr Silly' from NUM which I think suits him a lot.
He does silly stuffs and sometimes ask silly questions :)

Ok, we went to buy something to eat and drink and sneaked it inside the cinema :D
The queue for buying bubble tea was frigging long! We waited like half an hour for our drinks and the poor lady who tended the shop by herself needs to get herself so busy at that moment.
After that, we rushed to the cinema since we were late and lucky enough there were still commercials going on :)
Enjoyed my mee sua and honey green tea while watching X-men :D
Likewise, JT was happily indulging in his crispy chicken and chocolate milk tea.
X-men wasn't that bad but the actions were kind of bland.
I'd love it if they have more power-packed actions in this movie.
But you can find mutants which you have never seen before(most probably).
After movie, we went to get JT's running shoes and it took him another half an hour to make up his mind again.
->Which got us late for our appointment at the hair salon.

It never fails to crack me up when I'm cutting my hair. You know why ?

Jacky : "Haiyo, your hair very thick leh. How you want to cut ? "
Me : "Haha, I know. I want it to be trimmed thin but not too thin."
Jacky : "Okok."

He subdivided my hair into many parts and then slowly cut at each 'sections'.

Jacky : "Wah, I think your hair is thick enough for a housefly to fly inside without you knowing."
Me : "Hahahah! Where got so exaggerating one."

Jacky : "You how long never cut your hair?"
Me : "Almost a year."
Jacky : "Wah, you can break record already."
Me : -.-
Jacky : "Then why suddenly you will feel like getting it trimmed?"
Me : "Previously my hair was too short to do anything to it so I wait till it's longer lor."
Jacky : "Oh, not wait till your 1 year is up huh."
Me : "No lah. Haha."
Jacky : "Then how long do you have to wait for your hair to dry ?"
Me : "Quite long actually."
Jacky : "One day one night is it ?"
Me : "Ya right."

When they blow-dry my hair...
My head was very hot you know why!
They used 2 hair-dryers on me!
If not it will take very long for my forest hair to dry.

Had some small bites at Long John Silver's for dinner.
Eventhough it's just a small portion but it's super fattening!
And so, realising that I need to shape myself up I did some workouts at home.
Sense of accomplishment :)

I am on MC today and I can't attend school since I have fever.
And so I have to trouble the Hon and Huihong to help me for the day.
Really have to thank them :)

Some virus infected somewhere near my throat and caused a swell at the side of my neck.
At first I thought it's some muscle strain thing but no, it's an infection.
Lucky it's not something serious if not I don't know how am I going to deal with it :)

Anyway, there's something wrong with my previous blogskin and I changed back to this.
It is so troublesome to find a new one and adjust everything accordingly to what I want.

My mum told me that my dad keep smiling after he bought a new car.
Haha, so what I've said on Sunday wasn't a wrong move to get my dad to change his car :)

You know what, I spent like 60 bucks on masks today!
I got a set of 5 Neutrogena T-U masks, eye masks, 3 pieces of Neutrogena deep hydrating masks and a box of water-proof plasters for JT.
My mum couldn't stand me nagging at her to buy more of these masks to nourish her skin since she is aging. Haha. Then she said she rather go slim down first.
I find Neutrogena's masks very helpful. You can see the results after one or two applications.
So there's no wonder why I will spam on their masks~
Well, maybe you can try :)

How great is it to have a satisfying buffet at just $9.80nett per person :)
Brunch with my lovely friends and boyfriend over at Joaquim at the Suntec CC.
We certainly had our fill and I really love their tau suan!
I had like 2 or 3 bowls of that however I was too bloated to proceed to another bowl even though I felt like it :(

JT left for school and then the 3 of us continued to window-shop for another hour more.
Had a little chat with my mum back at home and I think she really like the fact that I am together with JT :)
I felt good at that moment that I didn't fell for the wrong guy this time 'cause deep down in my heart my mum and I know that he's a very sweet and nice guy.
Someone whom I can really trust to be with :)
There's no lie about it right ? :)
It's definitely rare to find someone like him and I believe that I am very lucky! haha :D
Ok, maybe he's the one who should feel lucky.
Haha, in any way we are just as happy to have each other :)

There's two phone conversations I had with her today when I'm in school.

The first one :

Me : "Hello? Mummy ah, you call me for what?" - during NA3 lecture
Mum : "Are you in school?"
Me : "Yes. Why?"
Mum : "Oh.. No lah want to talk to you about something ..." (Then suddenly she paused)
Me : "What is it ?"
Mum : "Ok lah, never mind. I miss you what that's why I call you :D"
Me : "-.- Mummy!"
Mum : "K lah, bye bye!"

The second one :
Again, translated to english.

Mum : "Hello? Sin Ni ah?"
Me : "Yes, what?"
Mum : "Daddy go and change his car already lah! All because of you lor."

Mum : "You yesterday said that Chessler doesn't suit him then he want to change to another car."

I don't know what came up to me this morning that I was so agitated by JT's words.
I know I've made a 'din' in class and so I apologise for that lousy behaviour.
Especially to RweeSiong and Ronald.
My mood was so f* up that I didn't even realise I've lost myself till I talked it out with JT.
Hope you guys understand that it wasn't intentional :)

IAP presentation is finally over and so far I think it went well.
Next, got to concentrate on our FYP already.
I really really really hope that our FYP won't get screwed up 'cause I'm having worries about the situation right now.

After having only few hours of sleep for the past 3 days, I'm feeling kind of drained now and I think I'm heading to bed soon.

Mother's Day coming up next on Sunday :)
Got to show some appreciation to your mum for their hard work!
To me, my mum is my idol 'cause she had me in her womb for 11 months plus and had more than 16 hours of pain during labour, haha!
Can you believe it ? I was in her womb for almost a year!
She said her tummy was too big back then for her to move about x)
Maybe I felt too comfortable in her womb that I didn't want to come out to see this world, haha.

Anyway, about the presentation today, I dressed up pretty formally and caught so many attention!
Well, first time wearing high heels to school was kind of scary 'cause as you know NP has steep slopes here and there and so I need to take so much effort to walk gently and carefully.
It was so tiring to do that lah!
How I wish I could wear flip flop for presentation x)
However, Carrie commented that I had some kind of aura when I dressed up that way :D
She described me as some kind of fashionable business-woman with the don't-mess-with-me kind of aura! Haha! I didn't know I can have this side of me :)
But JT said otherwise of me looking more like a fashion designer.
Oh well, both also not bad a comment to me :D

We caught TAKEN and I think it's worth watching.
I like the smart plot and the actions even though the killing part is kind of 'scary'.
Hon kena frightened by so many gun sound and the action part, haha I can't help but to keep laughing at her reactions.
Dinner after movie plus lots of cam-whoring!
Really had a great time talking, laughing and taking photos :)

Had been away for quite a while and I bet you miss me so :D
No lah, just joking!
I'm trying to make myself feel better after having quite a lousy week.
Recent incidents chased away all my 'happiness' and I don't really feel as cheerful as before :(
I'm not over with the fact that I failed my FTT for the second time; it was such a disappointment.
I studied but it seemed to have gone down the drain.
I don't know what's happening. Whatever I do, nothing seems to be in my way.
There's a lot in my mind now and it's in a mess!

Another thing, I couldn't donate blood.
The doctor said that I have low blood pressure and when she questioned about why my blood pressure is so low, she asked me again if I'm having a healthy diet.
With those eyes I can tell that she categorised me under the don't-eat-so-that-I-can-be-skinny group.
I AM CERTAINLY NOT THAT KIND OF GIRL!
Obviously, I was stunned by that.
I'm not sure if she took it as though I reacted in the way that she's right.
Even Hon and the rest were shocked when I told them about this.
They knew that I can't survive without FOOD so there's no reason I'm going to skip my meal.
My mum was so supportive of me that she laughed out loud when I said I couldn't donate blood and ended up getting pills from the doctor to replenish iron into my body.
She even told her friend -.- and ya, her friend laughed too.
Funny huh? No, I'm not in the mood to laugh.

Some other things are more or less private so I'm not going to blog it out here.
Those things are also reasons why I'm so moody.

Everyday when I look myself into the mirror, I will ponder what other people think of me.
Some may dislike me, some may not.
Some may admire me, while the rest may not.
For so many reasons that I'm here, I am thankful.
Be it good or bad comments I had received so far about me, it helped me grow.
Grown to be smarter, more confident, much more aware of my image and the people around me.
There's always good and bad people. And I will always keep the good ones with me 'cause they are important.
To speak the truth, I hated my secondary school life.
It's like the worst years of my life.
Besides the good friends and teachers I've got, the rest just sucks to the core.
For some reasons, a lot of assholes dislike me. Till now I still don't get a good reason why they were like that.
You can say it's very normal during high school but I detest it.
I used to get a lot of rumours saying that I play around guys' feeling and got together with an ass for his money etc etc.
For whatever reason they did that I took it as though they got no life.
It really made me felt miserable at that time and I even had sucidal thoughts.
I committed so much for my CCA but I wasn't recognised by the new teacher-in-charge and so I didn't get an A which I thought I deserve it.
Nothing's fair. When you are shy and reserved, you are not outstanding enough for people to see.
The world goes around like this for me.

I don't like it when people get the idea that I am just some 'playful' girl who's not serious.
Or just some flower vase for my boyfriend to show off.
Or maybe some girl who gets all whiny when she saw something she likes or hates.
I'm not that kind of girl. JT, my mum and my close friends know me best.
And I admitted that I'm not very girly, I have a very strong-headed personality and dislike anything too girlish.
I am very independent since young and can also take good care of others besides myself.
That's how my mum brought me up and I'm glad that I don't belong to the bimbo category.
I still prefer to be someone with brain and independent personality.
I remembered that there's once an intervention about China ladies insulting Singaporean ladies for their not-so-pretty images and then in turn saying that they are, however, smart.
Can tell that those cheena-s doesn't have the brain to think that internal beauty has already taken over the external beauty in this modern society.
They are so outdated!
Moreover, I don't think cheena-s are that good looking anyway.
Frankly speaking, I don't like cheena-s!

It's the 3rd once again :) Which spells the 16th month being together with JT this May.
JT is very very important to me and he really got me falling in love like never before.
He knows me very well even though I hate the fact that he can tell what I was thinking, but it's cool to have things happen in this way 'cause sometimes I need someone to really knock me with some sense and make me think through my mistakes instead of just giving in to me.
For the past 16 months, it is so far the best time of my life.
I feel so loved being with him, what more can I ask for ? :)

One week of school has ended so quickly and eventhough it's just the first week, I can feel the stress coming. To be precise, stressing over FYP.
No more slacking, no more lagging behind.

I am really not feeling too well now but the thermometer measured my body temperature to be only 37.3!
What the hell man. I'm not having fever then why am I feeling sick?
It leads me to a question whether I should visit a doctor now or not.
What a dilemma!

You know what? I really miss school. I miss the girls too!
It's been almost 2 months since I last met up with them.
I'm going to meet Carrie this saturday for shopping :D
She said she need to shop for more clothes to wear and at the same time we can update each other about our life.

Caught American Idol Season 8 just now for the performances by the top 7.
My favourite singers? Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey :)
They have incredible vocals and ultimately talented!
Especially when Adam L. performed the song-Mad World last week. It was truly mind-blowing.
Guess what? Someone got saved this week! Fortunately for Matt Giraud, he can perform again next week. Unfortunately, there will be 2 contenders who will be going home next week.
I wonder who will be the one ...

For the past 3 days, we've been staying inside the field service office.
No work at all! But we've found a new 'companion' :)
And that's Mario Kart :D
Yesterday, JT, Victor, Awie and I were racing karts all day. Well, almost.
Awie got so addicted to it that he quickly borrowed JT's ds to play Mario Kart this morning.
The same goes to Victor.
He drove all the way to Bishan to borrow ds from his sister so that he can play with us the next day which is today. FYI, he stays at Woodlands.
It was really fun playing. And I think we will have to do the same tomorrow.
I can say this whole week is completely not productive at all.
I'd rather stay at home and sleep :(

The experience of being inside an engine room :)
Well, I must say it felt like having sauna inside.
Yes, it's pretty hot inside especially when we were wearing our overall.

We boarded Lady D, a private ferry.

JT, as usual, monkeying around :D

This is the engine. Samuel told us that the cruise he went the other time for educational trip
has an engine 7 times bigger than this.
I really cannot imagine how big that cruise's engine was.

We went exploring the vessel to see what we can find.
And I've found this beautiful scenery :)
Sea-viewing never fails to bring me away from the busy life.
By the way, the land across the sea is Malaysia.

The sun-shine is too glaring for me to open my eyes.

JT found this very nice accomodation on the upper deck.
We think that is for the guest/owner to use.

From this week to next week, I'm attached to field service section.
Oh I forgot to tell you guys that JT and I will be patching back one week for the company since we took about 7 working days off for our Thailand trip.
So, many of you will be enjoying your last week of holidays before school reopens while we are still stuck to the boring attachment's routines.

You know what? Wartsila still pay us 600bucks a month :D
I got so disappointed for nothing for the past one month 'cause we heard from the SP's interns that Wartsila is going to pay us 440 a month.
Well, I got what I want :)

For the past 2 days, we totally did nothing but to watch video till we dozed off.
It's super boring lah.
Firstly, we don't have our safety pass yet.
Secondly, there's no job yet.
And so, they played safety videos and the dismantling and assembling process for us.
Lucky for us, we'll be going on a private yacht tomorrow :D
Of course it's work, not for fun.
But I've never been on a yacht before so I'm pretty excited about it :)

JT and I intend to get a pair of Metal Logo Havaianas each after we get our attachment allowance. I want the gold and black one :D But it can be a little costly for a pair of rubber flip flops. It cost about SGD 59.90 a pair!
I wonder if JT still wants to get one after knowing the price...

Nice right! I like the white one too but it doesn't look nice at all after it gets a little dirty.

My grandma's birthday is nearing. After looking back to the previous celebration for her, I can't believe how fast this one year has passed.

I'm back from Thailand :) I rather stay there though. People there are livelier and less whiny about many stuff which made life there so much easier to spend without worries or stress. People there might not be rich but they are more than content to have enough to eat :)
Take all my aunties from my mother's side as examples. They are very positive towards life.
Being with them makes me a joyful person since they don't complain about things or compare myself to their kids which can be stressful. They are constantly laughing and cracking jokes with each other. Living with them is such a bliss. Aww man, I miss them!

JT misses there too. He told me life over there is so carefree to the extent where you don't feel stressful about spending your life.
But there's one thing he hates the most! Guess what ? It's transvestite! Too bad for him, there are just too many in Thailand and he can barely avoid seeing one. This will lead to me and my mum and sis disturbing him, haha :D

Anyway, my mum bought two super adorable Labrador puppies in Thailand! The current guard dog we have is very old already( 12 human years) so we've decided to keep new dogs to guard the house. These 2 puppies are such a darling even though they can be very naughty and playful. How I wish I can bring them back to SG with me :(

Well, let me introduce them to you :)

This is Cola - the gentle and super chubby female Labrador.
She is very obedient :)

This is Pepsi - the playful and curious male Labrador.
Oh yeah, he is very greedy :)

They are only one month plus old yet they are kind of big already.

Even though I've only spent a few days with them, I couldn't bear to leave them.
There is this special feeling which developed between us that is so mutual.
I wonder when I will see them again.
Perhaps the next time when I see them, they have already grown so big and not like the current cuddly ones.
I really miss them a lot :(

Anyway, they remind me of the dog - Marley from Marley and Me.

It's Sunday once again.
Today the sky was bright till about 1.30pm and after that it kept pouring super heavily till the fields get all flooded.
What a gloomy day :(

Counting down to about a week to my Thailand trip :)
My mum wants to visit grandma, I thought of joining her since I haven't been visiting her for about 2 years which makes me feel bad about it.
JT and my sister will be going too :) It will be a fun visiting trip I guess.
However, there's bad news. Mr Ngoh doesn't allow us to take such a long leave during attachment. The company approved the leave already, we are only left with school's approval.
It sucks totally. Mr Ngoh wants us to reschedule our trip but how ? Tickets' booked and paid for!
Gotta talk to him about this tomorrow so that we can ease our mind going overseas without the fear of retaining. I really really really really really hope he approves. *Cross my fingers*

Oh recently I've found a new motivation to go work :D It's FOOD! haha!

Thinking of it now makes me drool~

Weekend :)

It was my first time going to St. James last night for a chill-out.
Well, PowerHouse was so filled with people lah.

Shouldn't go clubbing on saturday, like what Cam said.
Cam and I met a lot of weird people there and for the whole night we've been avoiding a guy!
Haha, super funny you know.

Aww man, tomorrow need to wake up early for attachment :(
Lucky for us, the next following 2 weeks we'll be in different section already.

No more smelling of oil!

It's friday already which spells the end of our first week of attachment :)
Well, time flies like nobody's business and I hope these 6 weeks will come to an end soon!

So far I had a great time over there :) Except for some dirty work which I need to get my hands on. Since I'm at the fuel injection section, I meddled with oil and injectors a lot! But it's cool, you know. Not many ladies get to do this :D Even though I was reeked of oil after work but I don't care, haha.

The uncles there are really friendly too :) Which is one of the things I like working there.
They can just chit-chat with you almost anything under the sun.

Going to bed soon - got to get myself prepared for my first driving lesson tmr morning :D

This is shown by the Quality Manager from Wartsila and I think this is really smart!
Beside showing us this magnificent equation, he shared a lot of his past experiences with us.
He's one of the second batch of students who graduated since NP started during the mid 70s.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic was once named Ngee Ann Technical Institute.
And we got to know that Poly students, in the past, were not allowed to enter a Uni after graduation. Only the 'A' levels students got to go into a Uni.

First day of attachment wasn't that bad.
We've got to do nothing but paperwork and chatting :)
Actually we didn't have any safety shoes on, so we couldn't do anything in the workshop.
That's why we have to stay indoor.
Also, we got to meet some students from SP who are doing their internship in Wartsila too.

It's really inconvenient for a female to work in a shipyard.
Since shipyards are always filled with males, female loo are locked for certain reasons.
And so, we have to get the key to the loo from the office.
Moreover, it's quite troublesome to take off our PPE before we can pee!
Guys just need to un-zip and that's all.
Well, there's pros and cons to work indoor and outdoor.

Yay, finally I can have my first practical this saturday!
And yes, I called the driving instructor :)
Now I'm going to do some questions from sgdriving.net to prepare for next tuesday.

These 2 days passed exceptionally fast :(
In less than 12 hours' time, I'll be roaming around in Wartsila and seeing banglas.
For the sake of my transportation, I spent 97bucks straight for my bus and train concession.
Oh well, I think the reduction of 2 cents in transportation ride doesn't help much to ease our financial burden. I just can't understand why poly students have to pay the normal adult fare whereas ITE and JC students pay the students' fare. Really not fair!

Ok, shall stop ranting about transport.
Oh, talking about transport. My FTT is about a week away and I hardly studied for it yet.
And I haven't even called the driving instructor!
Haha, I'm going to die soon.

JT is too engross in Casino Royale now that he hardly bothers about me :(
I think he's in love with Daniel Craig. Ok, I'm joking. JT's not gay :D
Ok lah, he will find me every time the commercial starts.

Yesterday, Cam and I were discussing about Edison Chen's scandal.
We don't find Edison Chen totally at fault. We think that the technician who post up the photos is seriously to blame and should take a rap for it.
Who don't take photos of themselves when they have sex? Maybe not all but I believe many people does that.
Maybe it can't be accepted in a Chinese society BUT I feel that it is perfectly fine and I won't make a fuss out of it.
It is really not a good idea to be famous afterall since you are being eyed on for so many things.
And your responsibilities is HUGE!

I went to Marina Barrage :D
The scenery was pretty awesome even though there's nothing much to see except for its neighbour - The S'pore Flyer which brigthens up the whole view.
The interior architecture of this barrage gave me a feeling like I'm in a stadium filled with dancing water. It felt like I'm in some unrealistic world.
I love it ! :)
And I got to see a huge dam in real life for the first time :D

EXAM IS OFFICIALLY OVER :D like finally!

The stress, the sacrifice and all the hardwork is at last, gone.
Hopefully the attachment period will fly as swift as the swallow and then I can start to work and earn money :)
Ahhh~ I can't believe I'm so free now :D
But that will only last for 2 days :(
Oh well, look on the positive side.

Getting a little bored while studying...

My mum is making 'abacus' now and she's re-doing it.
It took her 3 hours to complete but somehow the abacus got stuck together and thus having her to re-do.
My little sister is angry with her re-doing the abacus 'cause she contributed some effort in it. And now, THEY need to re-do everything.
Haha, I can't explain how funny they are.

For tomorrow's plan, I'm going to make a trip down to town to accompany JT for his haircut and then off to meet Cam and Andria for dinner and finally to Marina Barrage!
I'm going to bring back a lot of photos in the camera :D

Stupid pimple :( it looks so damn ugly. I hope it'll be gone soon~

Marine Engineering just won't get the best out of me.
I'm kind of struggling with it now

If only I can handle this module like Thermo or EM3B :(

I think I always have this problem with Indian lecturers.
For last sem, SOM was taught by Mr Sarker and I really struggled!
Nothing he taught went in at all.
But in the end I get an A, miralculously :D
This sem, Marine Eng was taught by Mr Yogee and too, I had problems understanding.
Again, nothing he taught went in.
I guess I won't be that lucky to get an A, haha.

Yay, my mum will be cooking yong tau fu and potatoes for dinner! :D

Thermodynamics' paper is down, and I'm only left with Marine Engineering.
The paper today was, hmm... I would say pretty challenging.
Some didn't manage to finish it on time, many get different answers for the same questions.
Even though I can do every questions, there's still some doubts about my own workings and answers since it is difficult to spot mistakes for this module's paper.

Let's pray hard :) Just one AD for me for this sem will do :)

Anyway, I can't pronounce 'nine inch nails' properly :(
It sounded funny when it came out of my mouth, haha.

I've been away for so long - about 2 weeks or so.

Well, I'll make a quick update then :)

I'll be going to Wartsila for attachment :D
EM3B exam is down, finally a load off my shoulder :D
Next will be Thermodynamics paper. Wish me luck!

I'm pretty tied-down with studies now that's why there's a lack of updates.
And exam only ends at 27th :(
After 27th, I am only left with 2 pathetic days to rest and play before attachment.

Recently I get rather frustrated over things easily, maybe it's post-exam stress and many other stuffs.
Hmm, so pardon my temper a little please :)

I think the following March and April will be very hectic for me since I'm part of Justis' crew to dance at DanceOnUs Recital 2009 (so there's rehearsal every week) and having my internship at the same time.
It's gonna be busy busy busy and fun fun fun! Haha

Underworld : Rise of the Lycans

Well, I caught this movie with JT yesterday and it's worth watching!
It's rated M18 due to gore and some nudity scenes.
However, I think the storyline and the actions were superb.
There's a lot of thrill and actions - I'm sure you'll like it.

DRINK WATER IN EMPTY STOMACH

31st January 2009 : Day 6 of CNY cum Uncle John's birthday celebration

Uncle John held a party for the whole family at a family KTV room at the RC.
Anyway, gambling always happens during CNY for us.
We gambled immediately after Ray bought a deck of new cards from a provision shop nearby.

27th January 2009 : 2nd Day of CNY

Denson came to bai nian with us :D
I miss him so much !
Now he's a few months older and starts to crawl already :)

His smile never fails to melt my heart :):):)

JT and my relatives came to bai nian in the early afternoon.
After that, JT and I went all the way to his place to bai nian.
And then to Ray's place.
Had rounds of blackjack and I was really lucky to be a banker :)
JT and I were the only winners for that night, haha.

Well, those rounds of game were really fun 'cause there are so many funny things that happened.
Ray's place have this very sweet small mandarin oranges and my mum really likes it alot.
During the games, JT placed an orange at the table so that he can win some money.
I followed suit - I placed 2 small mandarin oranges hopefully they will bring me luck.
I was too engrossed with the game and I didn't notice one of the small oranges was gone.
Guess what ? My mum ate it !
She didn't tell me and sit there eating it silently.

This year, Uncle Johnson and family will be joining us for dinner which they haven't do so for the past few years when they are in Australia. And I can see how ang moh my cousins have become.

Two days ago, JT, my sister and I went for Muay Thai trial training.
I've learnt quite a lot of new techniques and the training was really fat-burning!
I cannot explain how sore my muscles are right now.
I can't walk properly, I can't laugh, I have difficulties standing up after sitting, I can't lift my arms up well due to serious muscle ache.
Haha, but I think it's all worthwhile :)
I can't disgrace my birth country since Muay thai is originated from Thailand.
Even my mum learnt Muay thai before.
However I can only start the actual training in April.
Let's just see about that :)

I couldn't explain how turn-off I'll feel whenever I need to do assignment nowadays :(
The studious side haven't get the best out of me, yet.
Every now and then, I will just force myself to concentrate and do whatever I need to.
Let's hope this doesn't prolong, if not I've got to kill myself for not studying hard to reach my goal for this semester.

Anyway, Carrie lent me a book which I've asked from her long ago.
Yazuka Moon, memoirs of a gangter's daughter
This book illustrates the author's life since childhood.
Her life in the past was a tragedy
Along the way, she still finding her true self and learning from her mistakes
I really felt her pain as I read
Shoko Tendo, the author, describes very well in her memoir
A book that captivates me and I managed to finish it within a day or two.
Maybe you guys can check out this book :)

A little update from the weekend :)

Friday, 9th Jan '09
Went down to Changi Airport for a job interview.
Meimei brought us there 'cause that's where her current job is.

As fast as we could, we rushed down to College West to accompany meimei to pay for her school fees and buy her school uniform 'cause I have lesson at 3pm.
Unfortunately, we all dumbdumb go take the wrong train and alight at the wrong stops.
This went on for about 30min -.-
Finally, we alighted at Expo and walked super long to reach the campus.
There goes 1 hour and we reached there at around 2pm.

At first, I thought it's just paying of fees and buying of uniform and then off we go.
However, meimei only got everything done by 4pm.
So, I couldn't make it to school.

Then we went back home and waited for Cam to finish her anniversary dinner so that we can go town and watch IP MAN!
IP MAN WAS FABULOUS :D:D:D
Eventhough I don't really admire fighting shows but this is so exceptional.
I even admire Ip Man himself. He's great :)

Trip down to the farm at Tampines :)
It was enjoyable!
And I've made quite a few discoveries.

This is the first time I see Koi fish being so agressive

This goose was sleeping with the head lying on its body and using only one leg to balance.

Some of my discoveries really wow-ed my life today.
Firstly, I saw a humongous dog which weighs 70+kg and is only less than 3 years old.
Can you believe it ?
Secondly, another dog at the same farm is as gigantic as the first dog we spotted.
But this dog has longer fur and is fatter.
He is like a gentle giant :)
Thirdly, we went to a fish farm and discovered a monster!
Actually, it is a fish.
This Gar fish is actually the largest freshwater fish in the world.
They weigh up to a ton and grows to a size of 4.5m long.
You must see it for yourself. That thing freaked me out!
FYI, that one I've seen is only 1.6m long

After the trip to the farm, we went to Pasir Ris Park for a walk.
At first, we intended to walk but JT, my mum and I cycled instead.

So far, I've gotten all the common test paper back except for Marine Engineering.
Which I don't really pin so much hope in it :P
However, I did pretty well for this common test! :D
The proudest of all is my EM3B paper which had 2 marks of careless mistakes only (do the math).
As for Thermodynamics, I am very satisfied with my result eventhough JT expect more from me.
Out of 3 major modules, I score well(so far) in 2 of them. Well, good path good path :)

Anyway, I think I'll be attached to PPL Shipyard this time but I have to do my resume!
Never do a resume in my whole life (so far) before therefore I'm feeling kind of clueless towards this one.
Lucky I can search that on the internet :)

You know, somehow I can't wait for CNY! I can feel the warmness with all the families under one roof. Then I get to update about life with my cousins too. It's like ever since we grew older and more mature, we don't really get together due to some reasons.
Oh well, it's kind of complicated lah. I shan't elaborate further.

It was not a bummer to go to school today :)
I had hell lots of fun, thanks to my crazy bunch of classmates.
They've made my life officially crazy!
We chatted a lot during our super long break and there's like non-stop laughters throughout.
We chatted about life, personal experiences and boys.
Oh boy, life is great with them :)

Anyway, what made them burst into laughters the most is when I fell -.-
Yes, I slipped and fell ! Just like what JT said, "Dear, second time already!"
Haha, I do realise that I'm kind of prone to falling down nowadays.
I fell on my butt and it's no joking matter ok. It's painful.
It was raining and the floor is kind of slippery, which made us wonder if Hon will fall since she is kind of clumsy :P
We still thought of locking arms together and walk.
Lucky we didn't!
I'd have drag them down if we locked arms and you can see 3 clueless girls sliding down the slope.
Haha, I can't imagine it! It's extremely hilarious if it really happens.
Ok, enough of that.

Guess what? I scored very well for my MISAF paper! Yay :D
I never thought that I did that well for any of my papers.
Well, a very good news to me :)

There goes my 3 weeks of holiday(soon).
Damn, will need to report school at 8am tomorrow.
It sucks :(
I really wonder how I did for my common test papers. I'll be happy if I did better than last sem :) But I know Marine Engineering will totally be screwed. Not paying attention in class and not doing enough revision for common test. Sure die.
Anyway, I wonder if I can turn in early tonight for school tomorrow. 8am lesson means I'll have to wake up at 5.30am. If I sleep at 4am again, I don't know how I can 'survive' tomorrow.

Many guys quoted that girls are highly-complicated monsters.
They've got serious case of mood swings.
They deny about things they really want.
They play mind games.
They are extremely unpredictable.
Most of all, once you provoke them they will eat you up and made you left with nothing else.

Let's talk about mind games shall we ? :)

Updates on X'mas Eve!

Well, met up with some of my sister's company, her bf's clique and Cam for a chill-out session at a pub in Serangoon Gardens.
Atmosphere was kind of weird 'cause there are like so many strangers.
I prefer hanging out with a gang of people whom I know well, so for the whole night I talked to Cam the most.
Lucky for me, I have her :)
X'mas doesn't feel like X'mas at all. I don't know, but I just couldn't feel all the festive joy.
This year's X'mas kind of sucks as compared to last year's.
At least I get to drink the tastiest mushroom soup ever last year's X'mas, and I really mean it!

Merry X'mas' Eve everyone ! :D

JT had his haircut in town yesterday and we waited for more than 2 and a half hours to get his hair done.
Well, everyone wants to look good on X'mas.
In the meantime, I shopped for a x'mas gift for an exchange during girlfriends' meet-up.
I bought 50 candy canes and I bet Gen is going to have a very sweeeeeet X'mas :)

A TRIP TO THE FISH FARM :)

We've been planning this for quite a long time already and we finally visited Hon's family fish farm.
It was a great getaway from the urban area and it was very relaxing sitting down fishing and enjoying the sea breeze :)
I'd love to go back again!

A sleepover last night at JT's place and he was just lying beside me.
We were both feeling very tired after such a long day.
Before we go into our lala land, we had a casual pillow-talk.

Talk till halfway, he fell asleep -.-
Then I stop talking.
I was facing him and vice versa.

All along, I knew about him sleep-talking (even over the phone).
And I love that he has this 'ability' to sleep-talk 'cause you can expect all sorts of funny things from him.

Out of nowhere,

"What was I saying... So..."
*Stare blankly*
"That indian man, that security guard..."
"Huh?" Reacting blurly, even though I know what's happening.
"That indian security guard..."
"What he do ?" Starts grinning and laughing loudly inside.
"He checked for onion..."

I cannot stand it then I burst into laughter!

Ok, I'm back to blog.
I was catching LA Ink and Miami Ink just now on Travel&Living channel and I was wondering if I can trust local tattoo artists in getting the perfect tattoo for myself.
JT was telling me that he kind of not trust the skills of local tattooists.
'Cause he've seen many tattoos not very nicely done here.
Somehow I agree with him.
I don't know. Perhaps not all of them are that bad.
Well, I'll definitely trust the tattooists from LA Ink or Miami Ink :)
It may sound crazy, but I seriously don't mind flying over to get myself a tattoo from them.
If ... I'm rich enough to afford the tickets to Miami or LA :D

X'mas is around the corner and I wonder how I can get through it :(
There's gathering with the girlfriends, potluck at Yvonne's, plans with Cam, and celebration with the family.

Few days back, I had steamboat with JT and family :D
It was great! I miss having dinner with my family :( Ok, random :/
We were all very full after dinner and hence, they decided to have a walk at Henderson Waves.
It was my first time going there and the structure and lightings are gorgeous!
You've got to walk there some day with your loved ones, it'll be a very pleasant walk :)

In a blink of an eye, it's been almost 2 weeks since I last blogged!

I've got to say I'm super duper glad when JT is around :)
